29 - 31 May 2020

The Denmark Festival of Voice is an intimate festival held in the small and beautiful village of Denmark on the South Coast of Western Australia. It is a celebration of the power and beauty of the human voice, (however we also include the voice of the natural world).

The only festival on mainland Australia dedicated to voice, we welcome expressions of interest from musicians, story-tellers, speakers, poets, writers and any other artists whose work has ‘voice’ at its centre. With around 25 workshops, the Festival is also a fabulous opportunity for Professional Development.

The Festival is held over the WA Day long weekend. In 2020 this is 29-31 May.

Festival Changes for 2020

Performer overlaps: If you are singing in more than one act, you may email us and let us know, but we do not guarantee being able to accommodate this within the Festival program.

Complementary Weekend Tickets: will be offered to selected performers/presenters in acts with less than 8 people. Any acts of 8 people or more will be asked to purchase a 50% discounted Festival ticket, except by special arrangement. Community choirs will be offered a complementary ticket for the Choir Director and additional tickets at a 50% discount for a weekend pass. Please email us if you wish to be considered for an exemption to this. Also, we don’t do ‘Plus 1’s’. These policies are aimed at keeping the Festival alive!
