To some Mary G is known as the Black Queen of the Kimberly, but she’s really your favourite aunty, sharing with you all her views and fun that make us all laugh. She believes that laughter is a healing tool and if we all had a good laugh from the bottom of our hearts to the bottom of our bottoms, we would be healed by positive energy.
Behind the character lies musician, comedian and radio announcer, writer, director/producer and indigenous rights campaigner, Mark Bin Bakar. Mark is an advocate for members of the "Stolen Generations,” having produced two albums which address their struggles. In 2007, he was West Australian of the Year which added him as a finalist for Australian of the Year in 2008.
