Facilitated by Maddie Godfrey, with special performance from guest poet 2018 DFoV Slam champ Daniel Hansen, come try your hand at the DFoV 2019 Poetry Slam – prepare a 3 min poem and have a go! A hit of last year’s festival - could you be the 2019 DFoV Slam Champ?

Be transported through time and space with this funky vocal bender of a being and come explore your voice in a mind bending psychedelia of a machine.

A simple (non-communion) service of song and thanksgiving for the new day and every new beginning, to which we invite people of all traditions to feel at home. With communal singing led by the community of St Leonard’s, Noongar elder Eugene Eades and friends. 

 

Evensong | SUN 6pm | St Leonard's

With special guests St George's College Chapel Choir. The tradition of Evensong (or Evening Prayer) has its roots in 12th century England, and the monastic offices of Vespers and Compline. It is now one of the most loved and popular cathedral services around the world. 

Rainbow Dreaming 

Artworks using recycled materials to decorate the town, facilitated by Josephine Lebbing with weaving experts Rinske Carr and Hilary Buckland.
